Many residents raised concerns with MAKRA in relation to the noise at the construction site on 28th of November. As the noise pollution was ongoing past 7:00 pm MAKRA members raised these concerns with the Project Manager onsite (Henry Construction) highlighting the restrictions as per Construction Code of Practise. The work on site was finally shut down at 9:00pm. MAKRA was assured that this happened due to logistical reasons and that this will not happen in future. Site Manager also agreed that in future he will be in contact with the residents via MAKRA to keep the residents informed. MAKRA members have also raised concerns of the heavy goods lorries being parked at the bend causing a hazard on this dangerous bend. We are yet to receive an updated response.
An apology was issued by the site manager which was posted through the letter box and is also available to view on the Notice board outside the site. If you would like a copy of this letter then please contact MAKRA
